Escape The Zoo

Stories for wildlife

We believe that imagery instills wonder, narratives foster empathy, and inspiration begets action. Through showcasing the important lives of animals and the difficulties they face, we aim to create a safer world for them.

Several hundred thousand feral cats roam the Hawaiian Islands. These unowned, domestic cats are struggling to survive in the wild. Unfortunately, these cats are also killing endangered Hawaiian species on the brink of extinction. The search for a solution to this complex problem has sparked a controversial and polarizing debate across the state.

On the Escape The Zoo podcast, we talk everything wildlife with leading photographers, conservationists and scientists.
